Thread regarding Ford layoffs

To the people defending this garbage company

Maybe if we weren’t all underpaid and were actually getting career development here, people would actually be proud to work here and give effort.

Almost everyone I know is upset and disgruntled to work here. The only people who stay more than 2 years are lifers who aren’t good enough to find a job outside

@3vaa - they are never anonymous and nothing changes even if you are honest. Don't waste your time.

We got the survey of what we think of ford reputation. It says it is anonymous. Should I complete it truthfully or could it still be held against me if it was indeed not anonymous?

SIRP'd is August '22. This post couldn't be more dead on! I got a new Job within weeks off being laid off and have developed my skills more in a little over a year than I did in my entire time at Ford.

As a manager I wouldn't hire anyone from Ford that has been there more than an couple of years. You stagnant at Ford. It's a well known thing too which is why people that have been at Ford for so long have trouble finding another job.

"The only people who stay more than 2 years are lifers who aren’t good enough to find a job outside."

Sometimes life circumstances make staying where you are the best choice for you. Understanding this comes with life experience.

"Maybe if we weren’t all underpaid"

If anything a large percent of these egotistical engineers are overpaid and lazy.

Mulally knew most of the engineers were overpaid babies.
