Thread regarding Gainwell Technologies layoffs

Gainwell has built their business model to have mass layoffs on a regular basis

I get trying to stay positive. However Gainwell has built their business model to have mass layoffs on a regular basis. It is a way of doing business for them. Notice that they never talk about it. No mention of it in any meeting unless someone specifically asks about it.

They have hung their hat on expanding offshore and shrinking in the US. Veritas has also dictated that cost savings means less employees.

There will definitely be mass layoffs in 2024. This behavior will continue.

Bumped from @1qgz+1q30mstn so more people can see it. The OP makes an excellent point.

The leaders they have chosen are cold hearted snakes. Watch out for yourselves if you choose to stay onboard the Gainwell train.

This is validation that Gainwell does not care about any employee. You are just a cog on a wheel. You are a number. And now that you don’t work for Gainwell any longer you are nothing at all. Not even thought about or worried about. The leaders don’t even have you in their mind.

Gainwell is a pi-s poor excuse for a company.

Unethical company.

Plenty of illegal behavior.

It’s amazing that they continue to operate. And that they are actually able to fool accounts into actually choosing them or keeping them.

It needs burned down and forgotten.

At this point all employees should quite quit. Do nothing. Force them to fire you.

I was laid off in October.
Unemployment repeatedly asked for information on how to allocate my severance pay. It should have been allocated to my last day of employment but the company refused to respond to unemployment who allocated it by week and decided i should not receive payment yet. Attempts by unemployment to get this information have been ignored. Attempts by myself to get them to send the information to unemployment have also met with no response. The only information they did supply was to refer me to their job verification company who only has employment information and your annual salary. They have absolutely no severance information available. So I haven't had unemployment payments for the past 6 weeks. And there's no end in sight because I have to keep calling unemployment whose systems go down or they have other issues. Or it hasn't been processed yet to get my payments restarted. I think If Gainewell intends to continue mass layoffs, then they should be more responsible in responding to unemployment requests. I went the entire month of December without any income from unemployment. And I am in the same situation for January. I had to go through all of the holidays with no money. I think that's showing a lack of responsibility on the part of Gainewell to not respond to unemployment requests.

Why do people keep trying to live in the past? Those companies don’t exist any longer. It’s Gainwell now and the leaders are worse than the bad ones you had back then.

Let’s move on and deal with now.

Molina leaders are the root cause of OH issues. Shame on them to have made free $$$ and then the worst leaders among them are those who ran away to greener pastures, leaving behind a big mess to be fixed gradually.

Hoping that new leaders are not as bad and they take steps to demote/fire those bad actors left behind. Hail, long live HP leaders!!

I wish I knew how to copy/paste properly - I wrote my comment before the last paragraph of the original post. My apologies.
