Contact your local union leadership. They have important info. that needs to be shared. The Grand Lodge recently sent via email to local chairmen of changes that will effect employment in California. UP may go strictly contractor. Cheap labor and less liability. I was informed L.A., Oakland, Lathrop, Fresno, Roseville has already started the process of getting utility workers aka scabs.
Also, locomotives are gross polluters. California needs to go green by 2034. Another reason UP wants out of Ca.

I know for a FACT that u.p. hired a company called ISN back when vena was announced ceo. That's ISN!! Look them up. They are going contract railroad.
