Medtronic has been outsourcing it's IT and other departments to Wipro for the past 3yrs.
Server teams, Local IT, now the Help Desk, other groups.
Wipro hires warm bodies to meet the numbers they agreed to. that have no clue.
Its too bad, they used to be a company you could grow with.

Just had my most frustrating support call ever with IT. Whoever decided to outsource it probably has their admin take care of IT issues. Aargh.
Very true post, I have never seen worst IT support in 15 yrs since SL handed us out sourcing. Sad.
