Surprise, surprise, E is for Expat. Again.
Different excuse made by management this time, apparently nobody got above an E in the team! I find that hard to believe! Guess it’s easier to be dishonest than admit the system is corrupt.

You said it, not me.
Speak for yourself. I practically run my department, I do the work of two dozen locals. Perhaps I am a fool.
Be happy with an E. I'm not sure if we do anything anymore that would be worthy of an E+ or an S.
The PMP process is what 'they' want it to be. And yes, congrats on your E.
I also always got the E but was denied my last GC bump because I was within 5 years of retirement.
"Performance-based" appraisal systems are all "corrupt" around the world.
The PMP system is what it is. S for Saudi because they are destined for promotion, M for Expats because they met the performance requirements for remaining employed. E was.for Expats destined for promotion.
Then when layoffs were included in the annual manpower planning, M meant you were placed on the layoff list, E was for not on the layoff list, and E+ meant potential promotion candidate.
Congrats on not getting an M.
