There were many excellent engineers at Ford Germany in ICE development. They got run out of town like a large number of us in the US. And now EV sales are a disaster. Farley couldn’t engineer a roll of toilet paper
they deserve being woke and accepting diversity. germany is ruined, just like london
It has been agreed with the German workers council that the restructuring process which started in 2023 will take until end of 2025. After having waited for one year while hoping for some response to offered voluntary separation packages they have just finished picking those employees who are going to be moved into some kind of "overhead pool".
Due to the devasting economic policy here in Germany companies and jobs are fleeing the country in droves, making it difficult to just move to another attractive employer. Currently the other OEMs are trying to cut jobs as well.
Remember last year when Farley got rid of 3800 in Europe and we all thought “well at least it’s not us” and he assured us that no more layoffs were in sight and we’d be the first to know? Well, in late June he lied on both accounts. That’s when I said I can no longer work for this company
Old news
US is next, didn’t you hear about Kumars cost cutting target today?
Did this happen last year? Have not heard any new layoffs in Germany this year.
I guess this is the end of Ford Germany.
Given my temper, I will use Rote Armee Fraktion approach to deal with the company in Germany in this situation.
Also, if I am in charge of the government, I will nationalize the company and expel all the management of this company
