I would only ever suggest joining an insurance company, any insurance company, and a phone based role if you are absolutely desperate ONLY. Anyone outside of insurance will see you as customer service only, so skills are not very transferable. All the roles are toxic by design and I dont think there are any companies out there even pretending to be a family, customer/employee focused insurance company anymore and its all turn n burn roles with zero care/empathy for the worker.
Its a job, it can pay well if you invest 5-10 years into it, but youll end up hating what you do every day.
