Boyfriend facing layoff? If No, does his Medical Insurance cover you? If Yes, you are not as bad off considering the alternative, i.e. COBRA payments.
I have an experience, is it similar I don't know. How about being layed off if you are Disabled. Happens all the time if you even get lucky to start with and are offered a job after disclosing you are disabled during the recruitment and interview process.
Usually you can be identified if they are doing a RA, but they don’t notify you until you come back and the days start counting then.
Likely not a possibility due to FMLA. However, I've heard of multiple people getting cut as soon as they come back from medical leave.
What are you saying? You have been laid off while you were on maternity leave?
