We hear stories about MW chewing people out and we all remember the legendary JG "Playing the Victim Card" moment but for those who know them are they normal people or as out of touch and heartless as they seem? What's it like dealing with them?

What are our C-Suite people really like? I’m not really sure, but I’m will to suppose that somewhere between the B-Suite and D-Suite. Duh!!!

The posts stating how grand and glorious these people are and that they are real nice when they had a meal with them are all laughable. This group has been given the plum assignments, promoted in good time and bad, doesn't have to go through the PDC, has never known a supervisor who just thought they were "just doing their job" or had a review where all they got was a 2 (old days) then a promise of what could and will never happen. They are completely out of touch of the true reality of the CVX culture. How else do you explain the Do Better email? Or the no consequences when a MCP fails?
With RM she hasn't been involved in nearly any HR town hall in over a year. No emails from her or anything until recently. She mentioned her husband has cancer and she is focusing on her family. I think that's great but would any other lower level employee be able to stop doing much of your work and become uninvolved in the same situation? We might have some leeway but not like that. I wish her husband all the best but let's make sure everyone has the same ability.
I’ll tell you right now the worst leader in this company is the one in charge of people; RM. She is vindictive, selfish, cutting and not a champion for employees or other females. She works politics behind her GLF colleagues’ backs to stop projects and even careers. Would love to have recordings of the way she treats people when no one is watching - not even borderline abusive. Even people in her own org are scared of her. It’s exhausting how our company continues to allow and promote people who exhibit these behaviors. It’s not a secret, we shuffle them around instead of actually dealing with them. Worst part is, how do you complain when the very people running the hotline are the ones you’re complaining about?!

MW is NOT a nice guy. I met him once. He initially put on his smiling face and acted like my best friend. But after a few minutes of him disagreeing with my data his true character was revealed. Basically "smartest guy in the room, give me what I need and get the he-l out of here".
Not saying this is abnormal for a CEO honesly it is probably the norm. But dont think he is this down to earth "Uncle MW" guy.

MW super smart, genuine, great communicator. But insulated from what the avg worker’s experience is like. PB smart, kind, practical, nerdy in a good way. NH thoughtful, down to earth, goofy. MN robotic, intense.

They’re all smart but out of touch. They spend all day getting smoke blown up their *** and don’t know what the company culture is really like. Most of them have great memories and recall and are very smart in that sense. JJ was my favorite to work with.
MW seems to love layoffs and cuts. What's the truth in this?
Normal, as they take a dump just like you and I. Their bank accounts are bigger and it matches their ego. MW is actually a super nice guy IMO, remembers names and is sharp as F.
They are normal besides the massive amount of cool-aid they have ingested along the way. They are all somewhat delusional about the real world and struggles of normal people
MW = Ted Lasso
I've sat in meetings with most of them and had lunch or dinner as well. They are all more or less fine and reasonable. DJO had a sharp sense of humor and hot temper. JW was affable but boring. MW really, really acts like a high school coach. JG was full of himself. GK was a freaking Commander Data of upstream stories and facts. JJ was a bit introverted but gentle and thoughtful. CN is a colossal bore who can't hold a conversation. AM was a complete freak of nature who might say or do anything at any moment; he did some really nutty things at meals and everyone tip-toed.
