"Going to start talking with employees this month and in some cases we are going to need transition periods between when we'll be ready to absorb the work from the GCCs and so we will be working with all our teams that will play a role in this to help us along that journey.
So that's where we are right now, its only just begun but there will be more transparency with teams that are directly affected and the role that they play either today or tomorrow to help bring this whision to life"

The centers initially work this way - Nielsen employees will be transferred to the offshore entity. Probably will get terminated after the training is completed. Nielsen writes off the cost of the former employee since that person works for the consulting company.

we're not outsourcing; they'll be Nielsen employees! but you won't be! and we have to send jobs to the GCC.

and we care about quality, but only enough to make the knowledgeable people we already have but are firing train the new people and hope the new people get it. also totally not a push from the private equity to do this. totally not.

it's all so sc-mmy.

It is splitting hairs to act like GCC is real Nielsen employees. We are still losing to offshore employees that are being paid peanuts to drive the company. It’s complete sh-t to pretend it’s not off shoring just because these new employees might not be contractors. It’s the same fu--ing thing under a different colored umbrella. they can double speak this all they want. This is destroying American & European labor in “expensive” markets but hey, these underpaid new employees are REAL employees this time so don’t call this outsourcing! bite me.

Of course he had to rub it in our faces that he or any of the C-suite managers won’t be taking a pay cut. Just pure evil.

We're not firing you, we are just replacing you with people who are not you. Nielsen's total headcount will be the same!
