After this round there'll be another and then another after that and so on. If you are smart, you are already applying and interviewing for something better. Nielsen is a dead company walking. There is no future here, especially with the current C-suite. Better to insure your own future by leaving.

If you are there long enough to collect 6 months severance, wait it out if your family life can afford to wait..save some $$ from your paychecks, collect severance when the time comes, take your time finding the right job, and enjoy some time with your family!
There is life after Nielsen!
If you are not there long and will only get a few weeks severance, start interviewing with competitors, an option you lose if you get laid off and sign off on your severance pkg..
Good luck to all, better days are ahead
If you're remote -- scure another job, don't quit Nielsen, work both until you're laid off. And by "work both" I mean completely phone it in at Nielsen.
Just remember that you forfeit your severance pay as soon as you take another job. I'd rather get my severance first.
