"LIVE" Q&A with Karthik

Hi everyone, it's me, Karthik. Here are some interesting takeaways from my Q&A for anyone who missed it.

~It was definitely live, no question. You could tell by the red "LIVE" sticker in the top right.
~It was very much NOT pre-recorded. (Otherwise, I would be lying by saying it was live).
~My off-the-cuff responses show how much of a fearless leader I am to address those live questions with confidence. I felt as lively and chipper as ever. It really felt like I was connecting with all of you while I stared dead-eyed away from the camera at my answer prompts written by my communications team. <3
~There is nothing to worry about going forward with this company. So if anyone has concerns, it's probably best to just stop worrying about it.
~ALWAYS use the code of conduct when discussing me or Nielsen, OR ELSE!!!! Lol just kidding! (but actually though, I'll fire you on the spot and won't lose a wink of sleep) ;P

The most important takeaway for me was: "Please, do not leak to the media any internal discussions" which can be read as "the media will immediately read between the lines and you are a mo--n if you can't :)

Hi Karhik,
This may be corporate suiciide, but I have stayed silent for a very long time and I feel that I can do so no longer. Please help me understand how DEI and ESG contribute to the bottom line. As a business owner myself,I understand P&L, but I cannot comprehend how these divisive policies/ programs help a business to be successful. I also cannot support offshoring American jobs when the economy is in turmoil.

"Going to start talking with employees this month and in some cases we are going to need transition periods between when we'll be ready to absorb the work from the GCCs and so we will be working with all our teams that will play a role in this to help us along that journey.
So that's where we are right now, its only just begun but there will be more transperancy with teams that are directly affected and the role that they play either today or tomorrow to help bring this whision to life"

The people on camera asking questions looked like hostages reading off a cue card. The entire thing seemed so staged or rehearsed. I don’t understand the point.

He's a pretty good tap dancer. He danced around every question that was definitely read live and not pre recorded 🙄

The use of the word “transparency” in that giant bowl of doublespeak gobbledygook spaghetti stood out like a zit on a supermodel’s nose. They really think we’re all stupid! Dust off the resumes…
