This is from the October layoff, each state requires different postings about layoffs, this isn't a new one for Jersey.
The layoffs have been quarterly for years and punctuated by a few large ones. That, along with actively getting people to quit or concocting nonsense reasons for termination, is the plan.

I won’t be surprised if San Diego is next, they closed that office too. Both San Diego and New Jersey salaries are significantly higher than the replacements they’d be able to hire in Texas.
