You can now buy property in Aberdeen less than you could 25 years ago and still dropping thats how far back its gone.
Only city in the uk too to have dropped.
Most are up 300 to 500% in that time. Place is dead.

@Ts yeah, it is way worse now after covid with many more shops closed. Good thing though is that the city center now is very difficult to access by car so you have Union Street without any traffic whatsoever and without many folks around other than drunkies and junkies. If they ever want to shoot a post apocalypse movie, Aberdeen is the right place to do it

Who still works in oil in Aberdeen is the city not closed down? That city was a hole in bo-m times.... last time I had to go 4 years ago was horrible dirty place with most shops boarded up and every 3rd house for sale! Oil capital ha ha ha ....

There might be a queue of volunteers there if they put people at risk in certain departments. Need to hope that engineering too will be impacted in some form.
