Wow! Kinda tone deaf brother. Maybe MR needs to get out on the floor and get a real feel on us peons that make things happen. Maybe he would then see the that the ones who actually cared and were knowledgeable don’t give a sh&t anymore. I have never in my life seen a company fall like it has. I see production numbers spiraling down the drain. But hey, at least we have everyday wins.

(Potti salivates at announcing more JE) As more work gets dumped to outsourcers and the poor Souls in Costa Rica who already are overwhelmed, get deluged with more work. MR say's we don't sell commodity items when knock offs and patent expired products are being commodities items daily. How many millionaires do you know who understand what a working person does and goes through on a daily basis? It is astonishing that anyone would think that a millionaire would care about minions. They don’t.
Plant manager and hr was directly asked in a plant wide meeting about all time high in employee turnover and if they have a solution on how to retain employees as quiet quitting increases and morale drops due to poor lower management values and hr corruption from the top down. No answer and looked flustered and embarrassed. I guess we'll continue to move forward out the door.
This statement by MR, probably the d-mbest in a long list of examples, is probably MR's parting shot at the portfolio 1 and 2 employees whose pension he is freezing under his watch.
I guess what he meant is he wants employees who are not tied to a pension plan.
Guess what genius .....attrition rate is highest among portfolio 3 employees who continue to leave the company in record numbers. They join 3M with high expectations, but are smart enough to realize that this deadbeat place (mostly created under your watch), does not offer anything promising for a young, talented, ambitious employee.
Even given in context, can’t believe the words, “We don't need to win back employees” came out of his mouth. Feels like they are trying to get folks to quit to hit an attrition number.
Really hard to go forward when:
- you are now doing the job of multiple people thanks to all the layoffs and other leavings
- when there is no accountability at mid and upper levels of management
- the company refuses to learn from the issues in the past. I’m so tired of hearing “that was in the past we need to move forward now!” Well, no, because the same mistake is being repeated again and again. And not just talking about the company direction as a whole but the constant issues in production and other places.
Next thing he will say is that instead of "doubling down", we should be "doubling up"!
I'm 10 IQ points d-mber just from hearing this.
A lot of the employees that were let go are definitely going "forward" in other companies.
MR, just when we think you can't get any d-mber....you go and do something like this!
It is a paycheck, nothing more nothing less.
