Why must we wait so long to get our 401k match? Things aren’t looking promising and I want it all before I leave.

Why would you expect anything else from such a terrible company?
They save millions by doing it once per year. No need to match if someone leaves or gets fired during the year.
Clearly shows they don’t value the employee.
Why work for a company like that?
Quarterly? WTF?
No they need to match on each paycheck just like any other normal company in America.

I recall they paid the 401K match last year on 02-10-23, and this match is supposed to occur in January. Maybe they are trying to hold onto the money longer to get interest and returns on the money??? And yes, the policy of a match only if your name appears on payroll 12/31 is ridiculous. They need to match on a quarterly basis.
