Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Ethics hotline

Im seeing lots of harassment, bullies being propped up, discrimination, all that stuff, happening. Are you all raising cases using the ethics hotline ?

Would nt it just need one of these to be leaked to the press for this whole thing to be exposed for what it really is?

Is it worth doing this?

Lots of bullsh-t with top management. Don’t admit the wrongful doing but keep doing it. That’s the big problem.

Ethics hotline and HR work for Citi not for the employee. File a complaint with EEOC for free or hire employment lawyer.

Citi management are not gods. Just because they make more money than you does not mean that they are better than you. If you have been wronged and are not getting anywhere with the skip level manager OR HR, if you can imagine that, then seek an attorney and leverage your right to sue for harassment.

Hire an experienced attorney!

If you call the ethics line all you’re doing is alerting them to issues they won’t solve and giving them a jumpstart on figuring out how to crush the complainer like a ro--h. If its really a big issue like discrimination look for help outside of Citi.

Ethics hotline is a joke like your HR partner is a joke.

Favoritism isn’t illegal. Discrimination is but there’s nothing discriminatory going on with layoffs that I’ve seen ( and I got at least 3 of the protected class buckets). So tell me what group is being discriminated against in the layoff process?

Yes, I have done this. I am seeing lots and lots of favoritism and discrimination through this process. I know others are doing the same. If people don’t speak up nada changes.

Been there over a decade. Haven’t seen any of that stuff. If you’re seeing all of that from where you sit at Citi, are you the common denominator?

I hear you. But it’s not worth it. It’s better to jump the ship if the things happening do not align with your internal values. That is my two cents.
