My job was eliminated 15 months ago, seemed rough at the time, but 15 months later and retired at 57 is pretty good, still collecting unemployment till the end of 2024…… I now look at it as a gift, was planning on leaving in 2025 anyway.

After decades of dedicated loyal service, the previous poster says, probably deserved to be let go…….. my job still exist, but was outsourced to Serbia with others on my team. Also saying you can’t find a job, well maybe after decades of work there is no need to work anymore? See if you feel the same way when your job is eliminated, nobody is safe, elimination jobs, and goal is reduction through remote Serbian support. Good luck!
If you were let go and weren't able to find a job, may be you deserved it.
I recommend you go here and sign up for the IBEW the only way this company gets better is with a union in my opinion. The cards are confidential and can't be subpoenaed even in court. This is how you get the ball rolling. If you have any questions contact Doug_Williams@ibew.org

The debt is off the charts high after buying Cardtronics, it’s the same thing that happen to DIEBOLD when they bought Wincor. Diebold went into bankruptcy which is the path NCR companies are on, they can’t survive with that debt. Also, remember when IBM dumped all their retail on Toshiba, sounds like once again NCR is going to follow in that same path as well. Management has ran NCR into the toilet, the big tu-d is in the bowl ready to flush. If I was still there, being in my late 50’s, I would ride it out, pretending to love my job, doing as little as possible until a RIF

I have to figure Voyix will be laying off or bought up soon. Stock price has been kicking around between 12 to 15 bucks since the start.
You must be in Europe. 24 weeks max in my state here in the US you can get unemployment at most $325 a week or less. Some states have more weeks few have alittle less weeks. Anyway congrats
Probably another wave on Thursday, February 1st, if you see a teams meeting pop up, prepare for a recorded chat with your manager and HR
"A Gift" exactly what I said. There will be ongoing layoffs and uncertainty for those left as they take advantage of the remaining employees.
