Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Thank you and Best wishes

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has posted useful info on navigating the layoff process. I picked up valuable info from you.

Achieving the layoff was my last career goal at Schwab so a very welcomed call.

I realize everyone isn’t in the same situation and I wish you all the best of luck. If you were among those who cared, your reward will come to you.

When you sacrifice your youth and energy to make a company successful (er), they should be grateful. How grateful, well maybe less than 1% of your CEO's passive stock options but I guess it is something. It just makes you wonder why you ever trusted in leaders to really have your interests at heart (they didn't! lol). Walt liked to dress down for "candid" videos but it was just a ploy. I 100% guarantee you that there are people with greater analytical, strategic, and business skills than folks like him but maybe they lack the true sign of an entrepreneur... the willingness to just obliterate other peoples live in the pursuit of winning.. i believe this is called sociopathy

Good for you. It’s clear they want thousands to leave and avoid severance. Bullying, low raises, small bonuses and disrespect are literal objectives for those still here.
