When does the unemployment benefit kick in post 1/5. Has anyone received it yet.

Did they say why it was denied? There has to be a reason.
Filed in TX, but the claim was denied hence trying to follow up or appeal.

yes, I got the direct deposits in the bank, I need to request it every two weeks. I think they hold the first week and you can request it at the end, or something like that, but yea I see the money in my bank. It's not much but hey. Other than that, wrestling with the fly-by-night scammers, errr... I meant co-called recruiters. Business as usual. Nothing to see here :) Good luck
