Agree with comment by Anonymous. No communication inside the organization.

I did hear one leader say 'these are difficult decisions.'

We don't even know what decisions were made, we've officially been told nothing.

I suppose the highly paid executives keeping their jobs deserve sympathy for making difficult decisions. Not out of line to say this is tone deaf.

So, I am concerned that we are not being told about this inside the organization. The Home Depot is a company that I believed was transparent with the employees, as much as they can be I understand that side too- But this many people get laid off and not a peep about anywhere? I live in Atlanta and The Home Depot can't burp in this city without the news covering it, so how have they managed to keep this private? This is pretty unsettling to me. I am sorry to anyone that lost their job. I hope that I am able to hang on to mine!
Home Depot- You made me drink the kool-aid.... Please don't be a Jim Jones!

Layoffs in the Care org as well. At least 20 under my manager that I’m aware of.

Approx 400-500 people across SSC. A lot of older, higher paid folks.
