HR is the most poorly run and most miserable organization at Chuck. That is all.

HR is just as bad as most other BUs but will add that HR really has poor leaders at the top that are t accountable, rather point fingers. Most of their staff aren’t even coming into the offices… which is a fairly good symptom of poor employees, considering it’s HR. Just too many people, they could become more effective laying off 25% of HR in admin areas like product management.
OP here. I agree to never trust HR. I work in HR. Backstabbing to get ahead, turf wars, no one knows what the he-l coworkers actually do, inept MD’s and a bunch of the most non strategic and uninspiring goofs I’ve ever worked with. The reason why most employees are muppets is because managers work at 3 levels below where they should be and micro manage. They don’t know good talent if it bit them on the a-s.
HR is NOT your friend. They are there to protect the company!
This. So much this.
Never ever ever have an unrecorded conversation with HR. Never ever ever tell them anything expecting sympathy or help.
And do not answer correctly if we go back to the wellness questions regarding health conditions. They are not HIPAA protected, nor are any comments you make to HR or your manager.
Another company and it may not be a big deal. Here now? It’s a big deal.
"if they have to wait on hold long enough, they'll probably give up." HR managers everywhere.

No help, they don't even know the policies.
HR is full of muppets - no one can think for themselves - robots IF a phone call is ever answered - pathetic
Sorry...CS&S is the worst
