Burnout

Are there any other PL that are leading over 20 ppl and feeling burnt out? I am so happy to have a job that I love. I have hit a point where the pressure feels unhealthy. I’m going to consider becoming a non PL. I understand leading large teams, some of my peers only lead 5 ppl. My workload is quadruple. Do I talk to my leaders about this or does it make me sound weak?

Good work was rewarded with more work.

Yeah, you'll definitely be a target in the wrong org., but I'm probably one of your over 20 people. It's a sinking ship anyway, does it really matter!? A good chunk of us will probably be out, as in fire ourselves soon enough. It's a numbers game, and they just want to stack and rank us all anyways, do what you need to do for yourself. Every man for themselves, is what Schwab preaches now anyway.

Saying something will definitely make you a target. Maybe just be honest that you are going to have to find ways to reduce your time commitments. And for everyone out there, please take care of yourselves. No job is worth your health. You don't have to quit, you just have to reevaluate your priorities. No more work.
