Thread regarding Alteryx layoffs

Alteryx Employee Compensation After Acquisition

Rumor has it that base compensation for all employees will be reduced by 10-30% and that bonuses will be cut in half after the one-year post-acquisition salary freeze. Also that RSU replacement compensation program will be much much less generous than the current RSU lab that employees have.

Are these rumors true? I really hope that they are not. Otherwise there is going to be a huge employee exodus.

Would love credible perspectives here.

Thanks

I started aggressively looking for a new job the day after the PE deal was announced. I can take my time in the coming months to find my next gig, all the while quiet quitting and collecting that paycheck.

I’ll be gone soon enough.

Why would you stick around to find out?

Yes, more information is leaking out, and over on Blind people are starting to complain about the pending changes in compensation. This is not going to go well for the employees. Nobody is going to be happy.

It could be true but we won’t know. The only breadcrumb we got was from the FAQ they sent out stating something along the line of “base comp won’t change for at least 1 year”. I suspect it will though but to what degree who knows.
