Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

We started the year with no layoffs!

Things are definitely looking up! /s

In all seriousness, things have gotten so bad that being laid off seems like the better option to continuing to work here. The culture is so toxic that I dread having to interact with anybody. I have never hated Mondays more than I do now. I wish I could quit but I'm yet to find a new job that pays enough to justify leaving. Which means I'm stuck unless I'm laid off.

Look on the bright side. You probably won’t have to wait long. Then you can EOI and get on with an actual life. Until then, bask in those SPIRIT values and the platitudes and corporate bs that make this place tick.

Sounds like someone has a case of the Mondays. . . .

If you don't know the reference, find and watch the movie Office Space, it will change your existence.

I cannot believe how much the culture could change within one year. I don’t think you’re alone when you say you dread Mondays. At least half of us secretly do.
