Is this really true? What specific business units had layoffs? Nobody I know seems to know. But something went down for certain.

This isn't working. Let's scapegoat somebody.
Ha ha, you fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is never get involved in a land war in Asia; and only slightly less well know is this: Never search for departed personnel on the internal website!
“ Calling me gullible or FOS is ki-ling my mojo, man! Let's get together for a Hackathon over some microbrews and just be friends, k?”
If you talk like that in real life the I’ve got two guesses as to your real identity :)
I was there through several sales leaders turning over. They never announced it until weeks after the fact. But it would be surprising to have the Americas kickoff delayed last minute due to PH being fired. I would expect that was decided in December; so, they would have had time to make adjustments behind the scenes. I think there's a good chance she quit, had a health issue, or death in the family. TBD.
If they are making major changes at that level in the organization, I find it hard to believe they would still proceed with the other kickoffs at the same time.
So, while it wouldn't be SAS without some kind of cluster F*ck start to the year, I'm not betting on PH being fired just yet.
With you @1yhg+1qHCpTSd.
I’m active on here usually the one calling out BS when I see it but it is taking a toll. I’m probably going to abandon this site since there really is no benefit to being here.

Yeah, Nik leaving was a surprise. Curious what happened there.
Good to know, I guess I stand corrected. Nik's departure was never formally announced?
@1pbt+1qHCpTSd Everyone on here is typically gullible or FOS but with that said there is precedence.
Nik was gotten rid of a couple months ago in a similar fashion. It was personal absence for a while and then he was gone. Definitely not by choice or personal reasons.
When execs are dismissed it is never a secret - you all are FOS or extremely gullible or both.
Also, looking up a person in the directory is not proof of being here, clearly rumors spread by other means.
Everyone got the same email today with direct links to all the different kick offs. The only one missing is Americas kickoff.
@1acx+1qHCpTSd That’s cute but incognito mode isn’t going to help you here.
This isn’t about the remote site tracking you. This is done fully by watching network traffic from SAS ip addresses (identifiable) to internal resources.
No SAS VPN isn’t going to do it either….
well, even if PH is out, don't get your hopes up... she developed a strong pipeline of similarly incompetent leaders below her... GB will probably step right into her role, and offer no more actual leadership than she did... it will just include WAY more basketball metaphors...
I used the "Incognito" feature on Google Chrome when I did it, so they won't know it was me.
Is this something you really know about or are you guessing? Spreading large rumors like this helps nobody.
Both things are true yes.Wonder when they will be announced.
Americas kickoff has been cancelled "due to exceptional circumstances." It just hasn't been announced yet.
Can verify that an email was sent out stating an absence this week for personal reasons, which did effect some kickoff events.
PH’s status should be easy to verify for current employees.
Isn’t the 2024 SAS Co. kickoff this week? If so, she would normally have high visibility in the public sessions. Her presence would quash the second half of the OP title. Her absence might validate it — assuming she’s not out sick. etc..
"Have a nice weekend!"
I know three people in sales who were let go on Friday. They're still in the directory and their email addresses are still active. But they were let go Friday afternoon.
This negativity is ki-ling my mojo, man. Let's just have a microbrew, play the guitar and forget about it?
She's still in the directory so don't think so.
