Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Hydrogen is the fuel of the future!

Efficient, cheap, logical! Burn it and it’s just water and oxygen! Why didn’t we think of this in the 1970s? Glad we’re finally going big with this, such an inspiration! Just a matter of time before we switch all heavy industry to this clean fuel. It’s a no brainer as it’s only a few times more expensive than natural gas and clean!

How about water powered buggy by Stanley Meyer?

Basically, breaks down the hydrogen from water.

P.S. I wonder why there hasn't been much progress on that prototype

Seems a hydrogen car could be filled in minutes vs the hours for electric.

Could even go out of town in it.

Safer than batteries.

Ask anybody on the Hindenburg how happy they were with their hydrogen experience.

This is the same level of discovery of a new technology as XOM discovering the "secrets" of outsourcing and open office setup.

So easy, but zero Hydrogen filling stations and zero hydrogen cars in use.

Seems like full market to sell hydrogen is years away.
