Will There Be More Stores To Close in 2024? Any New Sears News?

The last time I was in a Sears was almost 3 years ago. The Apple Store was around the corner which was why I was there in first place. So we had some time and went into the store. Only saw 3 other customers on the entire 1st floor. Went to the tool section half of the tool section was either bare or had countless of the same items. I remember speaking with another customer that was looking for a 3 ton jack. There were none in the store. Spoke with someone not too long ago, they stated pretty much the same thing about the Sears Store they were in.
Seriously?
Hope so. We could use some juicy, tasty, delicious ones! 😉
To the poster below, it's just an expression, son. It isn't that deep. 🙄
"don't even get me started on Kmarts"
Then proceeds to start in on them. Oy vey.
I don't see why not. The remaining Sears stores (except for CA, and FL) aren't Geographically coherent. I get it, that the PR store is Profitable, but that's a different animal. Why on Earth are there random Sears, in places like Braintree MA, and TX, with absolutely no other locations probably within 1000 miles of each? Then why are there 2 in Washington state, of all places? So there are 4 in CA, 2 in WA, but none in Oregon, which is in between those states? 🤷
Then don't even get me started on Kmarts. There are 2 locations on St. Thomas (I think?), that are 2 miles apart. Then there are 2 completely random stateside locations in Bridgehampton NY (which is 100 miles east of NYC, in the remote end of Long Island), then a store 1000 miles south of that, in Miami FL.
Literally looks like someone blindfolded through darts at a board.
If it says Sears or Kmart over the door, it's closing
It’s time to close all the remaining stores.
I perdict there will be more closings if I know ed lambert.
