Rumors are going around about even more layoffs in the next few weeks. Does anybody know if there's any credibility to these rumors or not? I'll be honest, I'm getting a bit tired of having to worry about layoffs all the time. These days, job security seems to be a thing of the past at Sabre.

DEI may be the worst thing that has ever happened to our culture. Gone are the days of meritocracy. Not gone is the good old boy network, but it is slowly being replaced by the DEI network. Which is worse?
I would hope that you have your resume updated and are actively looking. I’ve had my LinkedIn status on for a couple months, now…. It’s simply not supposed to be this quiet in January, and I’ve barely heard a peep. I got lucky and had a lead last year that paid off last week, but like I said…. Very fortunate to have gotten the position, and it was from networking several months ago.
I loved my time at Sabre, but they don’t care about you or anybody besides themselves and the shareholders.
Is the Sabre way like the Mandalorian way?
They must have some serious helmet hair and BO. Just saying.
Now that KE has been Named as one of the BEST CEO's, and leader of Best Culture, Best for DEI and Women. How could he not Lead us out of this downward spiral and more Layoff's....
If there is another I could name a development manager, director and vp that need to be included. But I think someone has pics of someone.
Don't you mean job insecurity? Sabre has a long standing reputation of constantly laying people off. It appears to be part of the organizational DNA.
As sure as the sunrise tomorrow there will be another Sabre layoff in the near future. It is a question of when not if.
This is the Sabre way.
"So, why are you still working at Sabre? You should start looking for a new job. You can find a healthier work environment, a better salary, and better job security elsewhere. Look for companies that are profitable, and ensure that the product related to a job offer is profitable for the company. Nowadays, layoffs mostly occur because companies prioritize profit over uncertain growth.
Earnings is in a few weeks. If they are not as expected then the shareholders will want more cost cuts.
For at least the last 20 years Sabre job security has always been tenable at best, because of constant Mgmt changes and chasing latest tech thing.. Even more so today, have to be flexible to roll with the turmoil till footing is found..
