It was a toxic and unproductive environment where the team I was working with was in a death-loop of conflicting priorities, inadequate technical support and poor quality control.
When I was laid off, I felt I was deliberately targeted but taking a step back, it was for good.
I hated working there. I should've left sooner but my misplaced loyalty to the team got in the way. I literally felt guilty interviewing for other companies and sabotaged my own interviews.
I'm now free and glad to take the severance and go on my way.
