countless associates have claimed their pto balances are incorrect
some say time will vanish overnight, and some are not getting the pto hours they should get
some associates end up with lots of hours at the end of the year only to have those hours gone by early january
this is not an accident
this is intentional and a way to cut costs/payroll/time off
please share if you have experienced this
You can carry over 40 hours at the end of December, if you have over 40 you will lose those remaining hours and they should have been taken before year end. They do not cash out pto time, it is your responsibility to take your time or lose it.
I thought that you can’t carry over your PTO into the next year, need to use it before year’s end. I somehow always use mine way before the winter comes, so wouldn’t know.
