Change Analysts are Next

Looks like there is transition process starting to have change analysts in Mexico and Philippine.

Wonder if that means change analysts positions are at stake?

I don’t even know what a change analyst does.

Perhaps they should outsource the CEO and the Board

Nobody (who knows what they’re talking about) is saying R&D is important…GE-Geoff knows it’s cheaper to just acquire a mid-stage startup that’s taken the risk already, than invest internally. MDT started the R&D brain drain about a decade ago, and it’s currently a shell of its former self.

Name one recent successful R&D project that doesn’t somewhere say ‘we acquired this technology from…’

Oh no not change analysts. Most important role in the company- some people say r and d, sales, clinical but no it’s change analysts that make it all possible.

What has this company become? I feel like our leadership is spending more time strategizing on where to outsource than innovating.

Next page out of the Jack Welch GE way…remember, the biggest expense is for the business is the employees. Eliminate all of those expense is the path to maximize shareholder returns and executive compensation!

Outsourcing everything never goes wrong. Those folks it's outsourced to start asking why they need you...

Soon the entire employee populace will consist solely of outsourced employees and the executives who exploit them. Thank the board!

He’s. Most of my change analysts are already in Philippines , Mexico or Dominican republican. It’s really happening.

The plan is to outsource everything, either to suppliers or to cheap countries. Where medtronic only maintains supply chain.

HR is also being outsourced to brazil/columbia . Eventually they will only have a few business partners and thee leadership managers/directors/VPs remaining in US.

If you are in a supporting function, I would recommend you strongly start exploring other options or aggressively ask what’s the 5 year plan for your team from your manager

Yes, I’ve heard that directly from a change analyst in Minnesota.

I talked to some of the Change Analysts here. Yes, they are slowly being phased out in the US.

At what point Medtronic no longer employ workers from the US?
