Medtronic (MDT.N) said on Wednesday that the U.S. Food and Dr-g Administration (FDA) had approved its system for a type of condition that can cause stroke or heart failure.
The system, PulseSelect Pulsed Field Ablation (PFA), is used for the treatment of atrial fibrillation (AF), a condition that is characterized by an irregular rhythm of the heart.
I worked on this project in a role that was critical. It was internally developed by Medtronic talent. I can give names but wont. End of story. Stop the fake news.
Affera PFA was purchased for its mapping. It's PFA likely can't hold a candle to the Medtronic developed PFA. I do not know Affera only a enough to be sure PulseSelect is so much better.

People get a grip, MDT did nothing but aquire this product. Organic R&D at MDT is far and in between. MDT is an aqusition and transfer company
