Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

How is FSO doing?

Curious how Full Stack Observability is going. Any risk of layoffs there?

fso is great in theory , too bad some of the products cant stand on their own and sales has no clue how to sell or design it, up there with ZTA and SASE, all great frameworks ruined by horrible piecemeal service chains. We try to pitch the whole ecosystem but customers who understand how this actually works, turn off their hearing after we bad mouth the best products such as palo alto and okta, trying to with a straight face say asa or duo is better.....

There will be consolidations. Do not forget Accedian.

I've heard some customers are not interested in FSO.

FSO is this FY’s shiny toy. They’ll get bored with it when it doesn’t deliver (and it won't) and there’ll be mass LRs. Happens all the time. Remember DMS, SNS and Cius?

There are no real paying customers for FSO. Splunk has its own FSO equivalent and is in Gartner MQ leaders quadrant. AppD/FSO is out of the leader's quadrant. So my guess is after the acquisition is completed, FSO guys will be laid off.
