Word from a friend in management is that end of year IP performers will be given a 1 time option at a package or a pip.
Was there really that many SA cases?
Is that the reason for TC Email on ethics?
Must be a touchy subject with all the down votes. But this ended up being true. 12 employees from the fab 9 test area were let go. Most were over 20 year people.

If you work at home and especially if you have a low-cost geo counterpart, you are screwed, the writing is on the wall, your head will be chopped off. Better get out on your own terms and timeline.
We lost 3 people in our department. 2 work at home and 1 on-site support. The 3 work ar home's where working with remote GEO counterparts.
I sincerely hope that it's GF paying people to downvote and cause confusion and not some individual. Because that's extremely unhealthy, mentally ill behavior that would make them a danger to themselves and everyone on site. If you are an individual posting and you truly believe that all of the comments and threads are a singular disgruntled employee, I implore you to seek professional help. You sound extremely paranoid and there is help for that.

Super sorry for the people impacted. GF is a horrible place to work, everyone should have a plan "B" and start executing on it. The rumors have been circulating for a while all of test will be out of Burlington and off shored to a low-cost geo including the testers. Get out of this sh*thole on your own terms and schedule before they abruptly remove you!!
Yes people let go in Burlington. Wafer test and the ME group.
