Thread regarding NextGen Healthcare layoffs

Just found out Friday November 10th they will be laying off 20% of the company due to being bought out by Thoma Bravo. This is the second round of layoffs for the year. This company has done several layoffs within the last 10 years. Definitely do not recommend working for this company.

So glad someone else sees in Sides what I see. Guy makes Eddie Lampert look like a Saint. He ruined Nextgen. Can't wait to see who he destroys next

I worked at NextGen for 12 years. I never felt secure. I loved the work and clients but never knew if today would be my last...

When the monkeys are left running the circus, expectations at 'The Big Top' should be low. Unfortunately, NextGen has been spiraling since Rusty left. Sides and his Cerner monkeys destroyed any culture that Rusty worked hard to create. Is it any wonder that he will execute his 20 million dollar golden parachute faster than you can say, "NextGen used to be a great place to work!"

I was a NextGen employee who is now a NextGen client (NGE). I called my rep, who is still around, to get any information on future support and patches. He's as pleasant as could be and I got the 'streamline' and 'core business' line that you all did during your town hall on Friday. What I find really weird is UGM is in just a few weeks.

They will have to convince their customer base this was a good move & why they'd do this to people right before the holiday (though I understand some or most (??) were given until the end of Feb).

They probably won't have as many customers to convince in person after last year's horrible UGM event. Sales as a CEO is a joke.
