Since layoffs didn't happen last week, I'm going to assume they're going to happen this week. Is it going to start on Tuesday as usual? Is there any way to find out more about what's going to happen? Knowing so little is only intensifying my anxiety over the whole thing.

*Your assumption waz cerrect
Started today in Irvine...
You’re assumption was correct.
One of my colleague in APAC got laid off today
Can’t believe we are about to lay people off while our stock is at an all time high for 2023. Prices are improving.
I strongly agree. Management has a habit of telling everyone there’s nothing to worry about then the quietly let a few people go under the radar hoping no one will notice. All this amounts to is anxiety and mistrust towards management. Apparently someone said we don’t have to worry about it since we sold some real estate and someone else said the 15th of November. So personally I stopped caring since I’d probably be doing much better working somewhere else and the only reason I haven’t left yet is because of the unemployment package I get if I don’t quit.
The endless cycle.
I predict a layoff soon
It didn’t happen
Well then it will happen in the near future.
It doesn’t happen.
That means it must be about to happen
It doesn’t happen.
Now it’s going to happen
A layoff actually happens
See, I told you a layoff was about to happen!!!!
It never ended
little value in twisting one’s self up over a layoff because too little information here is correct, though occasionally there’s one that’s close. As long as sales is lifting off the bottom and budgets are manageable, timing of anything further will hinge around the business break up
15th
There are no reliable sources that I know of confirming layoffs. Some random people mentioned it here without any more hints than just random dates is not a good source.
Let it ride
Why worry about things you cannot control??
