Share Price ….. What Happens If….

Let’s say that the deal doesn’t happen and the share price drops from where it is today to somewhere around 80. The shares are locked and no one can trade currently which could prevent people taking a potential loss if they were able to sell them now just in case. Could there be a case where the shares are unlocked too late to sell to protect a potential loss?

Lawyers will have a field day for this reason. As it stands- the longer this goes on the more VMW stock is inadvertently manipulated. I see a larger liability for AVGO making VMW shareholders whole. Tan Hock is over his head and if the deal is called off- which I believe it will be denied- he won’t have any reputation left.

Wait and see what happens to AVGO and VMW. There is exposure for all shareholders.
