Geo coming to all locations….payroll centralized, then sent to India once it’s fixed, 4divisions to 3, warehouse restructures, all coming fast . Cuts everywhere

@8wtd+1pyTN9AX they have been working on getting payroll cleaned up since 2021 and all of us payroll admins are still here because they can't figure out our system.
You keep telling yourself that. Step 1 - centralized payroll in the US- clean it up, streamline it, get it working, turn over to Mexico. It’s that simple. We are all replaceable
Sales Geo makes it easier for payroll purposes . No complicated commissions to compute. If the drivers are still using some type of Kronos, then this should be a no brainier for management to process payroll. Warehouse & production is a different type of payroll depending on the location/and or union rules...that could keep Mexico stumped for a while and the KAs safe.
This reorg/downsizing has been in the works for several years...this is not new news. Around 4 or 5 years ago if not more. They have been talking about payroll going being offshore for 10 plus years. Implementing all of this is not with a flick of a switch and there will be bumps in the road along the way. The day I found out about my job moving to overseas, is the day I started actively seeking another job and not waiting for a pathetic package payout. Once again...is this HR fishing to see what the little people in the field actually know? We know more than you think.
Payroll is safe for a while, they can't figure out how Payroll is done and managers processing it is a disaster. they do it wrong so they have to keep people like myself who have Payroll knowledge around to fix the errors
