Thread regarding Belk layoffs

Belk ignores the $2.5 billion debt, ignore it and it will go away?

Why is the debt not being discussed?

It was brought up at a meeting and immediately glossed over

The “I haven’t heard anything about that” line was muttered

Less than 5 minutes after development burden was brought up, meeting was abruptly cut short

Do corporate executives think we are that d-mb?

Belk probably sell or liquidate all stores when the Belk debt is about 3 billion dollars or more. Trust management at Belk and you are in good hand! After all remember this just like building the border wall, if Sycamore Partners does not pay for the debt, Mexico will! When the ship is sinking, the rats start singing and leaving.

We are all born with ignorant and limited knowledge about business. One must work harder to remain stupid! Is that right Belk stable genius managers and executive sycophants? Wait until Belk purchase Mar A Lago vacation resort for 3 billion dollar!

Not only is the debt load being ignored
Belk has numerous lawsuits against it, most notably the Bessie Durham lawsuit (the associate who passed away in the ladies restroom and went unnoticed for 4 days). Belk is also being sued by former contractors who never got paid for work, employees claiming age discrimination, s-xual harassment lawsuits, and numerous slip and fall/workers comp cases. The list goes on and on and on and on…….and the less you hear from corporate the more trouble belk is in….a healthy, financially stable company is transparent with employees, they won’t try and hide everything.
