This is due to a 2023 law change in NJ. NJ now requires 3 months on the WARN notice. So NJ employees get more paid time before they get their severance. Per the WARN notice their last day is Feb 25th... however they left with the rest on Oct 30th.... so they made out.
Did anyone attend the Town Hall held in JC last Thursday? Wondering what was mentioned.
Additional 109. The article is confusion because it notes the 2,000 (which was 2,300+) from October 30th.
We were told Q1 would have more and there’s been nothing stated that changes the quarterly layoffs that have been ongoing for two years.
