Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

How about a litigation?

I could probably make peace with the layoffs and move on. However, a part of me is infuriated for the fact that those favored by domain MDs and senior leaders have retained positions (some deserving and many not deserving). These so called false leaders who prioritized helping their loyalists, tarnish the image of the firm and most importantly the morale within, as many high performers are removed under "position elimination" actions. I wish there was a way these leaders were brought out and humiliated for their true intentions.
One very obvious observation is that there has been none to negligible impact to leadership positions to folks who were brought in from USAA. It has to do with the senior leaders starting with the CIO who originates from USAA and their intentions to safeguard their favorites at the cost of sacrificing good talent. Wish there was a way to litigate and prove wrong doing here.

Most leaders that were impacted did not have great engagement comparatively. It would be difficult to prove any or most high performers were targeted.

Best to reflect and focus on yourself.

File a DOL complaint for unpaid wages/OT. If you lose, file a FINRA complaint. They will have to respond.

You’ll be more successful bashing your head into the wall at the Circle K than suing.

In most states where Schwab operates a class action or individual suit would be tossed, even if you had cause. And in this case you likely don’t.

The best class would be over 50s with medical issues being let go at a higher rate.
