I’ve been job hunting for 6 months now. Started as soon as the layoff announcement came out. It’s been insane. I’ve sent out hundreds of applications and gotten literally 4 interviews and then never heard back or was told the roles were cut (for two). It s*cks. I’m frustrated that I’ve been doing what I can and am still laid off and finding myself job hunting. I’ve reduced my salary and role expectations and am now also open to contract roles. This sounds like something someone in charge of employee retention panicking that people are leaving would write 😂
We have the Feds Powell to blame. At this point, I’d rather have a high inflation and a job. At least I’d still be able to pay although higher price but I have a paycheck to fight it through
