Tell me one medical device stock that is not down today. Things are bad for every med device company right now, uncertainity with respect to GLP-1. It will be like this until next year or so

Every medical device company stock is done today. All because of the new GLP-1 dr-g from Eli Lilly, this is nothing new. not Medtronic related

Hey, let's not forget the ingestable balloon that Omar's SPAC came up with after raising $750M. This is sure to be a game changer and Geoff has already agreed to distribute and sell it. I get a gut ache just thinking about it.

From my view, the Medtronic Compass points straight South. Sad reality folks.

If I outsourced all housework, yard work, and heck even my real job, then acquired assets like sports car, boat, vacation home, I’d look really wealthy wouldn’t I. How long do you think I can keep that up?

Yes.. it is known that most obese people use majorly medical devices. GLP-1 will
Reduce sales in the next 2-3 years since once they lose weight they won’t need as many medical devices and hence these stocks are down

Almost Every medical device company is down this year . It’s a theme of the market.

GLP1's have been around for over a decade...FDA approved first one back in 2005

Anyone who thinks this is GLP related is an amateur. This price action is related to investors (institutions) losing faith (as they should) in the sh*t show dumpster fire that is Medtronic

I don’t study the stock market readily and have to ask those who do - is it truly the GLP1 medications that are causing the negative effects on medical device stock prices? Eli Lilly’s GLP1 med (tirzepatide) just gained FDA approval today.
