They need to get rid of leadership. SE are so incompetent.
I have heard by the end of 2024 order writers in prepared foods job will be more like grocery...scanning in inventory and the a.i. decides what to order. I, for one is not worry about my job because I can work in different venues in the kitchen and work any other dept. But I do feel like they will have a massive layoff like they did back in 2015. Ppl who have been working there longer than me are waiting for the severance package. I believe the package won't be as big as the first one.
The company has no idea what it needs. Roles are frequently cut then brought back years later. Nothing is ever implemented well so assuming they attempt to cut either of those roles it will crash and burn per what always happens.I have not heard of any cuts happening and the person that posted originally wrote it as Skynet. If they cut your role stay on board doing something else and spend company time looking for a new job.There is a good chance you will find something better elsewhere anyway.
Don't feed the trolls. Receivers will always be needed. Order writers are still needed for the time being. Maybe in a couple of years the SOT might take over, but there's no need to stress people out.
When I was hired I was told my position would be going away soon. I was at that position for 8 more years before it actually happened. I wish I could go back and tell myself to stop worrying.
What can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.
If you need to see receipts after all that has happened with Whole Foods in the last few years with reorg and positions going away, you are as blind as Mackey.
