My experience having not worked for Schwab but being married to a 20+ year employee, every 1-2 years there will be the threat of layoffs with significant layoffs every 3-5 years. Also, when the layoffs occur, there will be no logical reasoning applied to who gets the slip and who doesn't.
It is over fow now. Nothing is going to happen through the holidays. After Q1 2024, all bets are off IMO.
