They are looking at a lawsuit, they have to announce something, either they are extending the outside dates and will continue to seek China's approval or they are dropping the idea here.
It doesn't matter so much what they announce as opposed to what they already contractually agreed too, afaik.
But Uncle Hock said he is confident! If he says it's confident it's a done deal! US and China don't matter because Hock Tan is the true master of the world!
