Hi all. I am an employee of a company likely to be bought by you. I read through some posts on this board and seems like a bunch of disgruntled employees or jokesters. When we are bought should I go to your company? I would do so only if there is a strong culture like inclusion and collaboration. We have none of that currently where I am at.
Depending on replies will determine if I start to look for another job.
So go with your honesty….
It’s not bad just depends on the boss you get. For the most part, fairly relaxed and work for your day options. If I need to take off for anything or work from home, it’s never been a big deal. No Christmas bonus but a yearly with stock. City will be much smaller though
Every 6 months is the peak of the cycles, but it is a daily dread of any phone calls or emails from HR in the morning...
If you have other options then I would pursue them.
If you like to see unethical practices swept under a rug. If you like to see token races and genders put into roles so they can say that they have inclusion and diversity. If you like to be lied too about the real current status of the company. If you like to wonder if you’re going to have a job in 6 months then this is the place for you. Just know we have half day Fridays and flex work from home. So there is that.
We don't have meeting rooms, we have collaboration rooms.
We don't only have white men, we also have hired some white women. Is that inclusive enough for ya?
I wouldn’t include or collaborate with anyone who takes this board as a serious business board to make decisions from. So if you are being serious, I hope whatever deal you think is supposedly happening doesn’t ever happen. Or I will quit.
Before you start reading posts about our culture, you might wanna double check your sources. I might be wrong, but I don’t think that we are in a process of acquisition of any company, and probably won’t be anytime soon. On top of that, there are some talks about us being bought (google it).
