I don't know if BC has a better working environment, but I'll be richer working there if it ever happens.
Most people at least at Symantec, even if they got an offer, did not survive the second layoff phase not even talking about the third. Therefore, whatever increase you see in RSUs, below 5% of all people of the acquired company will see the light on the other side of the tunnel - just keep that in mind. Your just a pawn being pushed around and sacrificed within a instant if you are no longer needed.
If this is true then you appear to be in a very small minority, most people are getting pay cuts as part of their offers despite a legal agreement with VMware to offer at least the same base pay.
There could be a class action off the back of this.

I assume you are a P4 because all P6 and P7 I know got a cut in their payment. Same thing for a few P5s, some of them said their payment level got regressed by 4-5 years.
So I think that the idea is becoming rich at BC might be true for very few while for the vast majority that is wishful thinking. Like a hamster running a wheel chasing the cheese.
