Thread regarding Hy-Vee layoffs

"Best place to work in India"

Remember when Randy said he wanted to make Hy-Vee "The best place to work in America"? Then why is every IT position that opens up now being filled by positions in India? Someone at HST quits or retires, and leadership pushes to backfill in India so they can pay lower wages and further fracture the teams. Our stores are not open past midnight, why do we need such a large presence in India when they are unable to support our stores during operational hours?

Right on! The only way to gain profit besides ja--ing up prices (warehouse price/margin) is to have a non-micromanaged, fully engaged, and happy workforce. Your employees are your greatest asset. They need to be hyping their workplace after work hours on social media, etc. Give them a wage worth their time. I left this place after Randy burnt the ships in 2020. LOL at the continued incompotence and cluelessness...

Randy’s pipe dream of the best place to work lol. If Randy ran a prison chain he would be running around telling the world his prisons ours better than most hotels. Dude has lost his mind. The best place to work should be based on how your treat your employees. What is employees number one reason to come to work. Good wages will make a place good to work for. Don’t tell me wage isn’t everything. That like tell Randy profit is t everything and we should care about profit. He would fire anyone on the spot for saying profit doesn’t mean anything.
